An amazing example of how far car technology has come, just 30 years ago you would see similar performance figures from Ferrari and Lamborghini, but now its packaged in a VW. Practical too and in my mind, a much better all rounder compared to the Civic Si and Mazdaspeed 3. However, she wasn’t without her faults, complete AC failure, carbon buildup requiring a full top end rebuild and general little niggles here and there, all in just 30,000 miles. Initially my wives car it slowly progressed to being my daily driver, however just 2000 miles in one year made us make the tough decision to sell her.
